Peter McArthur of the town of Jackson in said County being duly sworn in open court deposeth & saith that the said deceased departed this life at his residence in the same town of Jackson some time in the month of April or May, last being an inhabitant of the said county at the time of his death, leaving brother & sisters, his next of kin, surviving to wit, Israel Sampson, Barzilla Sampson & Seth Sampson all residing out of the state as this deponent is informed and believes to be true, Sarah Wife of Darius Fuller of the town of Jackson in said County.  Mary Thirey & Hannah sisters of the said deceased, the names of their husbands and the places of residence unknown that he left an instrument in writing which this deponent wishes to have admitted to probate as the last will and testament of the said deceased in which James Hoy, George McFarland, and this deponent named Executors and further saith not

Peter McArthur of the town of Jackson in said County being duly sworn in open court deposeth and saith that the said deceased departed this life on or about the 3rd day of May last, being before and at the time of his death an inhabitant of the town of Jackson in said county, leaving certain heirs him surviving, to wit, Barzillia Sampson Residing the province of Upper Canada, Seth Sampson residing in the County of Switzerland State of Indiana, Thirey, wife of William Mc[Farren] place of residence unknown, Hannah, wife of William Maxwell place of residence unknown, Sarah wife of Darius Fuller residing in the town of Jackson in the County of Washington aforesaid, that he left an instrument in writing, purporting to be his last will & Testament, in which is divided real estate situated in the said county of Washington that this deponent is named an Executor in said will & that he wishes the same proved and recorded as a will of real estate sworn this 19th day of June 1837
