Last Will & Testament of Carrie Morehouse Robinson
In the name of God, Amen. I, Carrie Morehouse Robinson, wife of William L.
Robinson, of Greenwich, Washington County, New York, being of sound mind and
memory and considering the uncertainty of this life, do therefore make,ordain, publish and declare, this to be my last Will
and Testament. That is to say, First, after all my lawful debts are paid and
discharged, I give and bequeath To my brother, Charles Morehouse of Wilton,
Saratoga County, New York, the sum of One Hundred Fifty Dollars; provided,
however, that if my said brother shall have died before my decease, I give and
bequeath said One Hundred Fifty Dollars to my husband, William L. Robinson.
Second. I give and bequeath to my niece, Beatrice Clark of
Third. I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved
husband, William L. Robinson, all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate,
both real and personal, of whatever name, nature or description.
Likewise, I make, constitute and appoint my husband, William L. Robinson, of
In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto subscribed my name, and affixed my seal,
the twenty-fifth day of November in the year one thousand, eight hundred and
ninety-nine.

The above instrument, consisting of one sheet, was at the date thereof
subscribed by Carrie Morehouse Robinson the Tesatrix
named in the foregoing Will, in the presence of us and each of us, and at the
time of making such subscription the above instrument was declared by the said
Testatrix to be her last Will and Testament, and each of us, at the request of
said Testatrix and in her presence, and in the presence of each other, signed
his name as witness thereto, at the end of the Will.

In the Matter of the Probate of the Last Will and Testament of Carrie M.Robinson, deceased.
State of
Charles W. Morhous (sic) and A. W. Day, whose names
are signed to the said Will as Witnesses, being each severally and duly sworn
and examined as a witness in the above entitled matter says, and each for
himself says: I was acquainted with the above named Carrie M. Robinson in her
lifetime and was present and saw her subscribe her name at the end of the
instrument now shown to me and offered for Probate as her Last Will and
Testament, bearing date the 25th day of November, one thousand eight hundred
and ninety-nine. At the time of subscribing her name as aforesaid the said
decedent published and declared the said instrument to be her last Will and
Testament, in the presence of myself and of the other subscribing witness above
named. I then subscribed my name as a witness to the said instrument, at the
request, and in the presence of the said decedent and of the said other
witness, and I saw the said other witness sign his name thereto and know that
he did so at the request of the said decedent and in his presence. The said
decedent at said time was over the age of twenty-one years and in my opinion
was of sound mind and memory and not under restraint.

foregoing is a correct record of the last Will and Testament of Carrie M.
Robinson, late of the town of Greenwich, in said County, deceased, and also of
the testimony taken by me on the Probate thereof as a Will of real and personal
estate, which said last Will and Testament was admitted to Probate and recorded
the 12th day of June, 1907.
