I, Hannah Weir of the town of Salem in the county of Washington and state of New York being of sound mind and memory do make, ordain, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament that is to say..

First - After all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give devise and bequeath to my grandson John Alexander Hutton two hundred and fifty dollars to be paid by my executor when said grandson shall have arrived at the age of twenty-one years.

Second - I give devise and bequeath to my grandson Herbert Thomas Hutton two hundred and fifty dollars to be paid by my executor when said grandson shall have arrived at the age of twenty-one years.

Third - I give devise and bequeath all the rest residue and remainder of my real and personal estate of what nature or kind soever to my grandson George Weir Paul to be paid by my executor when said grandson shall have arrived at the age of twenty-one years.

Fourth - I give devise and bequeath all my real and personal estate to my executor hereinafter nominated and appointed in trust for the payment of the above named debts and legacies with power to sell and dispose of the same at public or private sale at such time or times and upon such terms and in such manner as to him shall seem meet.

Likewise, I make constitute and appoint my friend Archibald Lindrum to be executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made. In Witness Whereof I have hereby subscribed my name and affixed my seal the eighteenth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six.

The above instrument consisting of one sheet was at the date thereof subscribed by Hannah Weir in the presence of us and each of us: she at the time of making such subscription acknowledge that he made the same and declared the said instrument so subscribed by her to be her last Will and Testament. Whereupon we then and there at her request and in her presence and the presence of each other, subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.

Washington County S.S.:
William Johnson and Edwin G. Safford being duly sworn in open Court severally depose and say that they were acquainted with the above named Hannah Weir in her lifetime and that they each of them were present and saw her subscribe her name at the end of the instrument in writing now produced and exhibited to them purporting to be the last Will and Testament of the said deceased, bearing date the 18th day of May, A.D. one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six. That the said deceased at the time of subscribing her name as aforesaid published and declared the said instrument to be her Will and Testament in the presence of these deponents at the request of said deceased and in the presence of each other subscribed their names respectively thereto as witnesses to the execution thereof. That at the time of the execution thereof she said deceased was a citizen of the United States, above the age of twenty-one years of sound disposing mind and memory and not under restraint to the best of the knowledge, information, and belief of these deponents.
