Sarah Thurber
I Sarah Thurber of the town of Salem county of Washington, State of New York, being of sound mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner following, that is to say:
First: I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses and the expenses of settling my estate be fully paid by my executor hereinafter named out of my estate.
Second: I give devise and bequeath all my estate real and personal of whatever name, kind or nature to Frank F. Rowland of the town of Salem county of Washington, State of New York to have and to hold the same, his heirs and assigns forever.
Lastly, I do hereby nominate and appoint Charles H. Buck of the town of Arlington, county of Bennington State of Vermont to be executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal and declare this to be my last will and testament this 14th. day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and one. (1901)

Margaret L. Vaughn and Nancy A. Wilder whose names are signed to the said Will as witnesses, being each severally and duly sworn and examined as a witness in the above entitled matter says and each for herself says: I was acquainted with the above named Sarah Thurber in her lifetime and was present and saw her subscribe her name at the end of the instrument now shown to me and offered for probate as her Last Will and Testament, bearing date the 14th. day of May one thousand nine hundred and one. At the time of subscribing her name as aforesad the said decedent published and declared the said instrument to be her Last Will and Testament in the presence of myself and of the other subscribing witness above named.
I then subscribed my name as a witness to the said instrument at the request and in the presence of the said decedent and of the said other witness and I saw the said other witness sign her name thereto and know that she did so at the request of the said decedent and in her presence. The said decedent at said time was over the age of twenty one years and in my opinion was of sound mind and memory and not under restraint.
