In the name of God, Amen. I, Abner Wright, of the
town of Hartford in the County of Washington and State of New York, of the age
of 78 years and being of sound mind and memory do hereby make, publish and
declare this my last will and testament in the manner following, that is to
say.
First - I give and bequeath to my wife, Permelia
Wright, all my Real Estate and also all my personal property after paying any
Funeral Charges, Excepting what is hereafter mentioned, that is to say.
Second, I give and devise to my son Abner one hundred
dollars three years from my decease.
3. I give and devise to my daughter Eliza two hundred dollars four years after
my decease.
4. I give and devise to my Daughter Charlotte M. one hundred dollars to be paid
three years after my decease.
5. I give and devise to the two sons of my Daughter Betsey, deceased, Fifty
dollars each to be paid in two years from my decease.
6. I give and devise to my Daughter Clarissa Sixty dollars to be paid one year
after my decease.
Lastly, I do hereby nominate and appoint my son in Law, William Brown, my sole
Executor of this my last will and Testament. In witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 6th day of April 1869.

The above instrument consisting of one sheet was at the date thereof signed,
sealed, published and declared by the said Abner
Wright as and for his last Will and Testament in presence of us who at his
request and in his presence and in the presence of each other subscribe our
names as witnesses thereto.

Surrogate's Court -
In the matter of proving the last will and
Testament of Abner Wright, late of
John I. Seely and Samuel Hall, being first sworn in
open court, severally depose and say that they were acquainted with the above
named Abner Wright in his life time; and that they
and each of them were present, and saw him subscribe his name at the end of the
instrument in writing now produced and exhibited to them purporting to be the
last Will and Testament of the said deceased, bearing date the 6th day of April
A.D. one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine. The said deceased at the time
of subscribing his name as aforesaid published and declared the said instrument
to be his last Will and Testament in the present of these deponents and of each
of them; and these deponents, at the request of the said deceased, and in his
presence, and in the presence of each other, subscribed their names
respectively thereto as witnessed to the execution thereof. That at the time of
the execution thereof the said deceased was a citizen of the United States,
above the age of twenty one years, of sound disposing mind and memory, and not
under restraint to the best of the knowledge, information and belief of these
deponents.
