Last Will and Testament.
I, John L. Morehouse of North Hebron, in the County of Washington and State of
New York, being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this my
last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say:
First: I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid, by my
executrix, hereinafter named, out of my estate as soon as it may be
practicable, after my decease and burial.
Second: I give and bequeath to my son Burke J. Morehouse the sum of seven
hundred dollars ($700.00).
Third: I give and bequeath to my son, Fred A. Morehouse the sum of two hundred
dollars. ($200.00).
Fourth: I give and bequeath to my granddaughter Pearl Morehouse the sum of one
hundred dollars. (100.00).
Fifth: I give, devise and bequeath to my wife, Olive A. Morehouse the use of
all my estate, either real, personal or mixed, and wheresoever the same may be
found, of which I shall die seized or possessed, or to which I shall be entitled
at the time of my death, for and during the term of her natural life; and in
case it becomes necessary, for her comfortable and suitable maintenance and
support, I direct that any part, or the whole, of my estate, after payment is
mad of sections, Second, Third and Fourth, of this my last Will and Testament,
may be used by her for that purpose, and then, at the death of my said wife,
all the property hereby devised or bequeathed to her, as aforesaid, or so much
thereof as ma then remain unexpended, I give unto my two sons, Burke J.
Morehouse and Fred A. Morehouse, in equal shares, and to their heirs and
assigns forever.
Sixth and last, I hereby constitute and appoint my said wife to be the
executrix of this my last Will and Testament, without bonds for the faithful
discharge of her duties as such executrix.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 18th day of
September in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

We, whose names are hereto subscribed, do certify, do certify that on the 18th
day of September, 1911, John L. Morehouse, the testator, subscribed his name to
this document in our presence and in the presence of each of us, and he, at the
same time, and in our presence and hearing, declared the same to be his last
will and testament, and requested each of us to sign our names thereto as
witnesses to the execution thereof, which we hereby do, in the presence of the
testator, and of each other, on this 18th day of September, 1911, and write
opposite our names our respective places of residence.

I, Frederick Fraser, Surrogate of the said County, do certify that the
foregoing is a correct record of the last Will and Testament of John L.
Morehouse, late of Hebron, in said County; deceased; that the said last Will
and Testament was admitted to probate as a will of real and personal estate and
recorded the 8th day of April, 1912; and that a correct transcript of the
testimony taken by me on the probate thereof is recorded in Proof Probate of
Wills, Vol. 1, at page 388.
