Comments: Cost $1,100.00 Hurd and Gibson were from Hebron Conway was from Argyle This property is wood land and is part of the farm now owned and occupied by James PATTERSON during his life time and is Situated in the Town of Hebron aforesaid and located near the Village of West Hebron and this particular piece of land is a part of the North Side of said farm and is bounded as follows- on the north by Lands of William DONALDSON and James E. McCLELLAN on the East by the Mill Pond on the South by Lands of William J & Ella J. BRISTOL ,this South line is a fence running from the Mill Pond in a Westerly direction and irregular in its course until it strikes the land of Charles GILCHRIST, and bounded on the West by lands of Charles GILCHRIST and supposed to contain twenty five acres of land be the same more of less. And the Parties of the First part agrees to give the Parties of the Second Part the right of way across their lands from the Highway to said Wood Land by the most convenient way and at all times except when the above lands are ill ????

Comments: This assignment starts in 1847 and is reassigned several times. The last date on it is a stamp from Washington County dated 2 Nov. 1888 Liber 105 of Deeds at page 382. As it is old and frail and once again the handwriting is eloquent but somewhat illegible I will offer the best that I can do. 
This article of agreement made & entered into this twenty first day of September in the year one thousand eight hundred and forty seven between Jonathan Brown, of the town of Hebron, county of Washington & state of New York, of the first part, and Abraham Anderson, of the town, county & state aforesaid, of the second part, witnesseth, that the said Jonathan Brown of the first part agrees, for the consideration hereafter to be mentioned, to give to the said Abraham Anderson, to his heirs, executors and assigns forever, the privilege of a road through the corner of the lot of land which the said Brown now owns and occupies, that is to say, a free & undisturbed passage of the said Abraham Anderson his heirs and executors, or assigns, from one lot to the other which separates lots corner respectively on the South East corner of the said Brown's lot: which road shall not extend more than two rods along the said Brown's South line, nor more than one rod along his East line. Which __?_ the said Jonathan Brown, of the first part, makes on the consideration that the said Abraham Anderson gives to him, his heirs, executors and assigns forever, the undisturbed use of a spring on the said Anderson's lot near the line south of said Brown's house. And This privilege of access to the spring shall be as follows: The said Brown shall have the __ use, not only of the spring, but of a piece of ground described as follows; beginning on the line which divides the premises of the said parties running south twenty four feet from the said line on the west side of the spring, & thence a north easterly course three rods to the side dividing line between said lots. The said Anderson, nevertheless, reserving to himself, heirs, executors & assigns the use of said spring. And the said Anderson of the second part hereby agrees to give the said Brown, his heirs, executors & assigns the above described use of said spring in consideration of the above described part of the road by said Brown. In Witness whereof we, the above described parties have hereunto interchangeably set our hands and seals the day & date above written. Witnesses Mary Steele & Helen Ashton. Comments: Cost $600.00 in payments of $100.00 beginning on the 1st day of March 1930 with the interest rate of 4.5% annually on the whole of the unpaid principal sum of the deed. 
Articles of Agreement. All that Piece and parcel of land situate , lying and being in the Village of West Hebron, in the Town of Hebron, County of Washington and State of New York; and substantially bounded and described as follows: Bounded on the north by the highway leading from West Hebron to Salem; on the west by lands of George KEYS (formerly George CRAIG); and Jack DAVIS; on the south by lands of George KEYS (formerly George CRAIG); on the East by lands of James ALLEN, Jack DAVIS, Charles LAKE, L. SMART and lands supposed to be owned by Della BUSSENOE, and the highway leading from West Hebron to Salem; and being the house and residence formerly owned by Theodore COPELAND at the time of his decease and now owned by Mary E. COPELAND. This conveyance is subject to the right heretofore granted and conveyed to said Jack DAVIS and his tenants, etc., to take, use and carry away water for family use, etc., from the well on the premises above described. The said party of the first part, Mary E. COPELAND, also reserves the right, use and occupation of the “West Wing” of the house on said premises so long as and for and during the time that the parties of the second part herein or either of them, shall own and hold the title or right of possession of the said premises, for which she shall pay to the parties of the second part for such use and occupation the sum of $25.00 per year, so long only as she shall use and occupy the same, and she may surrender such right at any time that she shall desire, and such right shall continue, to so occupy the same by her, for and during the term of her natural life if she shall deem it necessary, provided that the property, title and possession thereof shall remain in the possession of the said Russell and Lillian Smith aforesaid, but such right will terminate upon a sale of the said premises. Possession of said premises to be given the 1st day of March, 1930. 

A further agreement; If the parties of the 2nd part shall neglect or omit to fully perform the terms of this contract and to pay the sums herein required to be paid, and any taxes and keep the property properly insured then the party of the 1st part may re-enter and upon and take and re-possess the said premises and the whole thereof, and terminate this contract; and all sums paid under the terms of this contract shall be deemed and considered as rent paid by the parties of the 2nd part for the use and occupation thereof.

Larkin, of the Hebron in said county of the second part, Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part in consideration of the sum of Forty Dollars to them duly paid, have sold and by these presents, do grant and convey to the said parties of the second part, his heirs and assigns. ALL that certain piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in Argyle aforesaid, being part of the Mill lot formerly owned by the heirs of Alexander Gillis and sold by then to George B. Couse (?) and by him sold to George Heath, Jr. & purchased on Mortgage sale by party of the first part and is described as follows; Beginning at the south west corner of Peter B. Larkin's land thence running west three rods and _?_ feet to the center of the creek then up the creek eleven rods to a yellow birch tree, And thence up in a north easterly direction 7 rods to a beech tree. Thence in a North west course 8 rods and 10 feet to the corner of Henry Irwin & Peter B. Larkins land thence in a northwest direction 25 rods to the place of the beginning the last course is along the line of Peter B. Comments: Peter B. Larkin is listed as having been from Argyle and William H. Larkin from Greenwich. (Side note and supposition. Harriet Larkin Peter B. Larkin's first wife died in June of 1869. Right after her death he sold his share of the gristmill in Hebron the he and Harriet had worked on to his partner Mr. Getty. After about 2 years he returned to the Hebron mill and married Mary Fraser. Mary had been and possibly remained a school and Sunday school teacher in Hebron). Sum of Thirty eight hundred dollars to duly paid have sold and By these Presents do grant and convey to the said parties of the second part their heirs and assigns All that certain piece of land Situate in the town of Hartford aforesaid and being part of lot no. 88 in said town and being lands conveyed by Truman Harris & wife to aid part of the first part April 12, 1869 and recorded in Washington CO. Clerk's Office January 1870 Book no. 66 Page 189-190. To shorten the deed and possible be of interest to some others the property bounded by lands owned by the following: Horace Ingalls William Wright Sybil Perkins Included the Gristmill and Gristmill lot in Hartford previously owned by Robert B. Adams. Property and right of way previously indentured of lease executed by and between Nathan W. Taylor and Jane Hills of the first part and Simion Ingalls and Horace Ingalls of the second part dated the 1st day of December 1848 and recorded in Washington Co. Clerk's Office in Book no. 36 of Deeds at page 296.

Cost $2000.00 ALL that tract or parcel of land situate in the Town of Hebron, County and State aforesaid is a grant of Co. __ in a Patent granted to DeForest & others and is bounded and described as follows: Beginning t the center of the Bridge situated a few rods south of the Grist Mill situated on the premises hereby conveyed, thence northerly along the west end of the Grist Mill dam, thence northerly along the west Bank of the Grist Mill dam at high water mark_ the, to the west end of the Bridge, that crosses the said Pond, thence easterly across said Bridge, thence southerly at high water mark along the east bank of said Pond to the northwest corner of Jane Reid's land, thence southerly along the west line of Jane Reid's land to the south west corner of said lands, thence southerly across the highway to the north east corner of the Garden Fence near the Mill House, thence southerly along said Garden Fence to where it turns westerly near Wm.
